Meet Hometime's Content & Portfolio Performance Manager: Hannah Fanelle

Where are you based?

I’m based in Melbourne.

What does a typical day of work look like?

Because Hometime has such a dynamic, start-up vibe, my day-to-day life can vary depending on what projects are in the pipeline. I might be writing listing content, working with local photographers, tracking listing performance or optimising listings in our portfolio.

What are some of Hometimes' values you connect with that drew you to the role?

The culture at Hometime is unmatched. Even though it's a remote atmosphere and we have employees situated all over the world, the business does a great job at bringing everyone together. This role has allowed me to take on more responsibility, wear different hats and explore areas I didn't know I was interested in.

How do you unwind?

My guilty pleasures are reality TV and playing the Sims. I also like hitting the gym occasionally and training with my local women's AFL footy team.

What is one thing people don't know about you that may surprise them?

Well aside from my accent, I was born and raised in Philadelphia, USA. I moved to Melbourne, Australia in 2018 and plan to live here indefinitely (I actually just bought a unit in Hawthorn with my partner!).

What podcast are you listening to or what book are you currently reading?

I'm not much of a podcast listener or reader, but I love a good TV show binge. My favourites right now are Ozark and Euphoria.

What gets you excited about life?

I thrive off new experiences. I moved to another country because I wanted to meet people from different walks of life and see parts of the world I didn't know much about. Travel has always been massive excitement in my life, so I am looking forward to tourism returning this year!
